IntelliWarp Scan reads what your QlikView documents are made of (sheets, objects, variables, load scripts and data sources) into one small archive for the assessment of a move to Qlik Cloud.

Every document, without its data
Scan opens each QlikView document through QlikView Desktop with no data loaded, exports its project files and records what it finds: object by object, sheet by sheet, with the load script and its data sources.
One archive, when you say so
The result is one zip of metadata. Open it, read it, then upload it from Scan or send it to your partner. From it we price the move and plan the migration.
What leaves your computer
Metadata only. Scan never reads data rows and never exports a table. What it records is the structure of each document: the names, types and settings of sheets and objects, the variables, the load script and the data sources it names.
- Passwords in load scripts (CONNECT strings, variables named like a secret, Section Access inline tables) are replaced with *** on your computer before anything is written.
- The archive is a plain zip. You can read every file in it before you send it.
- Uploads go over HTTPS to encrypted storage and are purged after import.
- User names, servers and database names stay, so the proposal can list the connections to create.
What it needs
A Windows machine with QlikView Desktop.
- Windows 10 or 11, or Windows Server 2019 or later
- Scan is a signed Windows program. It needs the .NET Framework 4.8, which Windows 10 and 11 already have.
- QlikView Desktop 12, licensed for the account that runs Scan
- Scan opens each document through QlikView's own automation interface, so QlikView Desktop must be installed and licensed on that machine. Close QlikView Desktop before you start: QlikView runs one instance per session.
- Read access to the documents
- A folder, a share or the QlikView Server's document folders. Scan reads the documents and writes its archive into a work folder of its own; it never changes a document.
- An activation token
- Issued for a company email address on the download page, or by your partner.
